Contractor Role Overview

Independent contractors partnered with United Professional Transit will:

Receive delivery contracts assigned by United Professional Transit
Operate independently under their own business entity
Manage their own delivery routes, schedules, and operations
Be responsible for completing deliveries professionally and on time
Hire, manage, and supervise their own delivery team

Contractors maintain full control over their business operations while delivering under contracted agreements.

Contractor Requirements

To qualify as an independent contractor, applicants must have or obtain:

✔ Active DOT Number
✔ Active MC Authority
✔ Articles of Incorporation (or registered business entity)
✔ Commercial vehicle(s) suitable for appliance delivery
✔ Ability to hire and manage a delivery team
✔ Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

All contractors must maintain their credentials in good standing at all times.
